Da Bei Nong Group (DBN) Research Center for Veterinary Medicine, founded in 2003, is located in the Institute of Animal Science, Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences. After years of efforts to develop new ways to control animal disease, we strive to support high-quality and solutions-driven production and the welfare of animals. Our team members come from various places in the world and bring with them many different perspectives. The divesity is the source of our strength, and we believe we can contribute to improving animals’ lives and enable animals and people enjoy their time together.
Da Bei Nong Group (DBN) Research Center for Veterinary Medicine studies on developing vaccines against zoonotic viral diseases and bacterial diseases, especially focus on swine diseases. Viruses currently being studied in our center include the porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2), porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) and classical swine fever virus (CSFV).
